Join us for our third Chess Tournament on Saturday, February 1st from 9:00am – 1:00pm at North Middle School. All Harrisburg School District elementary and middle school students can participate. ♟♝♛♚
• No payment or entry fee required
• Chess boards and sets will be provided
• Food is not provided. Please send a snack with your student
• Some of our players have peanut allergies, so please be mindful of the school’s policy on nuts and other allergens

Harrisburg High School's DECA program is hosting a book drive for Reach Literacy, a program for children and adults who do not have access to normal priced reading materials. You may drop off books for both children and adults from February 3rd -7th in the NMS front office. All book donations are greatly appreciated!

8th grade students in the Harrisburg School District, worked with the HS and MS Counseling teams to put together a plan for High School registration. Parents and Guardians, please ask your student(s) about their personal plan. Registration will take place next week!

Megan Assman, a Community Navigator will be presenting on identifying human trafficking and how traffickers are now targeting youth through the use of social media. The presentation will take place on January 16th, from 6:30-7:30 in the HNMS PAC.
