Cast & Crew

Noah Norwine and Juleigh Wilson, HHS Seniors and very active members of the drama club, co-authored and directed Women in White - a show that plays off of the Men in Black series to create a new story filled with bumbling henchpeople, a burgeoning friendship, and more ducks than you would expect. They also donated the proceeds of their performance to LifeScape, an independent, non-profit organization serving adults and children in Sioux Falls.

Noah and Juleigh wrote and performed the show primarily due to the student play performed last year. They write, "that show was such a fantastic experience to be a part of and drove us to create our own event for the newer students this year. We also hope to start a trend for student shows to occur alongside normal shows each year!" As a requirement, seniors must complete a senior project, and Noah and Juleigh took on the challenge of writing and directing a play and donating the proceeds as their project.

The duo chose LifeScape because Juleigh has a special needs brother who attends one of their programs, and the charity supports people like him to live more normal lives. LifeScape's mission is to empower people to live their best lives. They offer their services of psychological and physical support to individuals challenged in those areas. LifeScape is based here in Sioux Falls and has other centers in Rapid City and Sioux City that are collectively helping more than 3000 people!

With the many donations from the community, Juleigh and Noah helped raise $1000 for LifeScape! Both credit the efforts of Mr. Smith, Mrs. Berg, Mr. Wuebben, and everyone else who supported them along the way, especially their Moms. The pair also give a special thank you to the 13 actors and 20 plus crew members who helped their show come to life.

Throughout this time, Noah and Juleigh learned a lot about leadership and working alongside others. There were times when both needed to take charge and give directions, but more times when they needed to enlist the help of others because it really does take a village!
