To celebrate Homecoming, Harrisburg School District will dismiss students early on Friday, September 25, 2026, so students, staff, and families can attend the Homecoming Parade. Please plan accordingly for your student’s early release.
Dismissal times will be as follows:
High School: 11:30 AM
Middle Schools: 11:36 AM
Elementary Schools: 11:47 AM

Kids will create projects with a variety of drawing and collage materials about their lives, dreams, and families while practicing calming, mindful art techniques that help them feel focused and relaxed. This camp is a wonderful way to transition from summer to the school year, giving students tools to start the year feeling centered and confident.

In this colorful art lesson, upper elementary students will create cheerful flower paintings using bold colors, expressive brushstrokes, and textured details. They will explore blending, layering, and playful techniques to make vibrant flowers that showcase creativity and personal style.
