Harrisburg High School's DECA program is hosting a book drive for Reach Literacy, a program for children and adults who do not have access to normal priced reading materials. You may drop off books for both children and adults from February 3rd -7th in the NMS front office. All book donations are greatly appreciated!

8th grade students in the Harrisburg School District, worked with the HS and MS Counseling teams to put together a plan for High School registration. Parents and Guardians, please ask your student(s) about their personal plan. Registration will take place next week!

Megan Assman, a Community Navigator will be presenting on identifying human trafficking and how traffickers are now targeting youth through the use of social media. The presentation will take place on January 16th, from 6:30-7:30 in the HNMS PAC.

CALL TO FREEDOM COMMUNITY EVENT! Megan Assman a Community Navigator, will present on what human trafficking looks like in SD, social media safety and how to protect our youth from online sexual exploitation. Thursday, Jan. 16th, 6:30-7:30 pm, North Middle School PAC.

The 8th grade parents and student HHS Pathways meeting will take place January 8th, 7:00 p.m. at the HHS PAC. A panel of HS students will also be sharing information about the pathways to the 8th graders, on January 8th in the morning at HNMS. Thanks, Mrs. Groeneweg
