To celebrate Homecoming, Harrisburg School District will dismiss students early on Friday, September 25, 2026, so students, staff, and families can attend the Homecoming Parade. Please plan accordingly for your student’s early release.
Dismissal times will be as follows:
High School: 11:30 AM
Middle Schools: 11:36 AM
Elementary Schools: 11:47 AM

We will be taking pre-orders for wildflower bouquets to be picked up during Tiger Bowl (celebrate a new Senior, a friend, a parent, cheer camp participant - or just because it's fun to give and get flowers!) Pre-orders are due by August 29th! These beautiful bouquets are courtesy of Four Daughters Cut Flower Farm and we appreciate their partnership and support! Stephanie Nolman, a Harrisburg High School alumna, graduated with the Class of 2022. She continued her educational journey by completing the District’s 18–21 Transition (STEP) Program in 2024. Recently, Stephanie represented Team South Dakota at the 2026 Special Olympics USA Games in Minneapolis, Minnesota, where she achieved outstanding success. She earned a Gold Medal as a member of the 4x100-meter relay team, captured a Silver Medal in the Shot Put, and placed 7th in the Running Long Jump. As a proud Harrisburg High School alumna, we wanted to recognize and celebrate Stephanie’s incredible accomplishments. Congratulations, Stephanie, on your dedication, perseverance, and inspiring achievements! We are #TigerProud! 🐾
